Employers are responsible to ensure employees are fit for duty and not using recreational cannabis, or any other substances, prior to work, while working, or on breaks.
Please review your policy and outline expectations with employees. Norm Keith and Carla Oliver developed a Fit for Duty policy template for ECAO member contractors.
