OEA: Introduction to Workplace Safety and Insurance – Claims

The OEA provides expert legal services to Ontario employers on workplace safety and insurance matters. This introductory session will give Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 employers a general understanding of Ontario’s workplace safety and insurance system. This webinar will provide an overview of the criteria the WSIB uses to determine whether an injury or illness is work-related, as well as the required reporting obligations. It will also review return-to-work, re-employment, and cooperation obligations, while sharing tips to identify suitable and available work to accommodate injured or ill workers.
