College of Trades Announces Electrical Trade Boards
COLLEGE OF TRADES ANNOUNCES ELECTRICAL TRADE BOARDS
ECAO will be represented on the Construction and Maintenance Electrician trade board by John Raepple of John Raepple Electric Ltd. And Larry Shaver of Gordon Wright Electric Limited. ECAO representation for the Powerline Technician is Dean Gatien of PowerTel Utilities Contractors Limited. The Trade Boards are the successors to the previous Provincial Advisory Committees under the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities. Under the College of Trades the Trade Boards advise the Divisional Board for its sector on issues relating to the trade, including ratios and compulsory certification.
