IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE ELECTRICAL SAFETY AUTHORITY
ESA Call Centre is open on Saturday, November 29th
Also adding phone lines and staff to address volume and wait time issues.
As ESA’s call centre has been experiencing high call volumes and unacceptably long wait times to get into the call queue and reach a representative, we will be opening the call centre on Saturday November 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in order to provide more capacity to process calls.
In addition, we are adding additional staffing and phone lines to our Customer Service Centre until service levels reach more acceptable levels.
We are also in the process of hiring additional full-time call centre staff who will be trained rapidly and come online in the weeks ahead to address the ongoing service quality issues we have been experiencing.
We have also been making a number of other adjustments to allow our Customer Service Representatives to answer more calls and process permits and book inspections faster.
We know that the problems at our call centre have been very disruptive and apologize for the inconvenience caused. Fixing these problems is a top priority for us and we will improve the service levels.
